The ultimate motive of all my projects are very simple: to connect with people and bring joy to their lives.
This translates directly into my design philosophy that creative works should function as tools of empowerment, thriving on ideas of community, reflection, and resilience. It is important that the way of thinking and techniques from multiple disciplines are deliberately studied in contrast with personal finds from philosophy, poetry, literature, and anthropology; these build the non-structures of my work which mirror my intrigue in reflexive living.
At the moment, clothing remains as my core interest. Its intimacy and necessity in human life provides volumes of information on modern society and endless potential to design and practice change - a fascinating medium I intend to work with for a very long time.
