"Fickle" (Fall 2015)
A jersey top commentary on the fickle heart of one in love, inspired by passages from Natsume Soseki's Sanshiro and the costumes from the film, "Les Enfants du Paradis."

"Windbreaker" (Fall 2015)
Designed to mimic the physical sensations and emotions of my first memory of a jacket: a purple windbreaker handed me down from my older brother. A sporty twist on the classic lapel jacket in purple silk shantung.

"Becoming" is a coming of age capsule collection which invites you to look back into the past not to regret, but to celebrate the ever-changing nature of identity and self-exploration. The development began by reflecting on my personal journey of gender identity. This was combined with a process of collaging images of the history of female and male dress, persons of admiration, and fabrics that resonated with the sensitive balance of new sensuality found in teenage-hood. Rather than abandoning the silhouettes, colours, and fabrics associated with femininity, they are reassembled to honour the complexity of my personal narrative of early womanhood.
